We are excited to announce that registration is now open for 2025 OUC Earth Science Winter Camp! Get ready for an action-packed winter at our Earth Science Winter Camp! Hosted by Ocean University of China, the Camp will be sponsored by China Scholarship Council.
What is it?
-Time: Dec 28, 2025-Jan 10, 2026 (two weeks)
-Venue: Qingdao, China
-Theme: Earth Science and Chinese Culture
-Language: English
-Fee: WAIVED for partner universities
-Eligibility: Full time undergraduate international students
Why to join?
-Learn about frontier knowledge in Earth Sciences. We offer courses and lectures in Earth sciences, field excursions and laboratory visits.
-Experience Chinese traditional culture and know more about the oriental country with long history. You will have the chance to experience paper-cutting, calligraphy, etc.
-Visit the old and modern city, Qingdao, which is one of the most livable city in China.
-Enjoy a fantastic winter time with fewer costs in a costal city. We will cover the 2-week costs of on-campus accommodation and meals, travel insurance, lectures, lab visits, field excursion and tours within the programme schedule. Participants only cover their round air tickets, visa, and personal costs.
-Obtain cross-cultural experiences and make friends with top-notch students from Chongben Honors College of OUC.
How to join?
1. Nomination: partner universities may send the application form by April 15, 2025.
2. Nominees shall confirm participation by April 25, 2025.
3. Admission: Letter of Acceptance will be issued by May 5, 2025.
